The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was established in the spring of 1957. Held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, it is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre. It is the longest-running, largest in scale, most comprehensive in product variety, and the most attended international trade event in China. The Canton Fair boasts the widest global reach and delivers some of the best trade results with a reputation for excellence.
The 137th Canton Fair is being held in three phases from April 15 to May 5, under the themes of "Advanced Manufacturing," "Quality Home Living," and "Better Life." The event features 55 exhibition sections and 172 product categories. According to the organizer, the China Foreign Trade Centre, over 9,700 exhibitors at this year’s fair hold prestigious titles such as National High-Tech Enterprise, Specialized and Innovative “Little Giant,” and Manufacturing Industry Champion — a 20% increase compared to the previous session.
